Deuter Transit 65 Backpack

I get questions all the time about the pack I use, and I am always super excited to dish. I’m basically a one-woman evangelist for the backpack-to-duffle convertible bag style! Unfortunately, I’ve had to disappoint many an inquirer when I’ve told them my Victorinox pack is no longer available. (I’ve had it for ten years, so I guess that’s to be expected. But after holding up through hiking and traveling on four continents, I feel like it should be immortalized!)

But now, I’ve finally found the answer!! A close equivalent to my beloved pack, this Deuter travel pack has almost all the same features. The small removable day pack (which I usually go without), the side handle for easy carrying and maneuvering at the airport, the full all-around zip that opens up your whole main compartment, and the hidden back panel that can be pulled out and zipped up to hide the backpack straps and turn your pack into a duffle. Winner!!

*I have not seen this pack in person so I can’t 100% vouch for it, but the photos show a twin to my pack, and the reviews are excellent. Let me know if you have any further questions.
